He also has two different fighting styles that he switches between, one basically a copy of Kiryu’s Dragon style, while the other is a copy of Majima’s Mad Dog style. It’s also recommended that you completely level up each style in the game, including the Dragon before you take him on.Īmon can be one tough customer, and off the bat you’ll notice he has more health bars than any boss in Kiwami. It’s best to go to the medicine store and completely fill up your inventory with items. The same is true with Kiwami, as you will have to complete every substory, but once you do, you can find Jo Amon waiting for you in the Theater Square.īefore you ever fight this boss, make sure you have plenty of recovery items, both for your health and heat gauges. #YAKUZA KIWAMI MAJIMA OF THE DEAD SERIES#
Of all its charming quirks, the Majima Everywhere System is without a doubt the most comfortably the series has embraced its own goofiness, making your many encounters with the ruthless Yakuza an inevitability.Yakuza Kiwami has some tough fights, but none quite as daunting as Jo Amon, the long-running secret boss of the series. Yakuza is a game series made infamous for its tonal dissonance: providing at once a serious crime drama in its main storylines and an absurdist comedy in the form of its many side-quests. The guy just wants his boss to give up on his obsession and come back home!

In fact you are eventually put into contact and become an acquaintance with one of his subordinates, who has been forced to help Majima in his antics and hold the family together in his absence, much to his chagrin.

The ways in which Majima surprises you in this game are too numerous to describe in this article. It is noted that the often-asexual Kiryu develops a fondness for Goromi’s charms. His muscles and Yakuza tattoos bursting out of his hot-pink corset and short-shorts, he goes by the name Goromi and after spending an evening of wining and dining with him, he will start another fight. When you arrive however you are greeted by Majima in drag. In one instance you are invited to a hostess club upon one of the employee’s requests. Over the course of the game his efforts to surprise you become more and more convoluted. Trying to buy some fast food? Here’s Majima! Stopped by the cops? Nope, it’s just Majima in a police uniform. Spot an oversized traffic cone? Out comes Majima. Strolling downtown minding your own business: here’s Majima charging you from the end of the street. Determined to fight Kiryu every chance he gets, the eccentric crime boss spends most of his time coming up with new and unique ways to ambush you and force you into combat. In Yakuza Kiwami (Kiwami means extreme!) while roaming the streets soaking in the culture of a Tokyo entertainment district: batting, bowling, clubbing and playing shogi, you will be terrorised by Majima.
